Even taking the 2 dashes (bottom of bus 10) as morse for M. Or is this the missing letter I'm supposed to find? Any further clues?

Any reason why 0709 & 0807 timetables are the same? Hmm..

TIA

You've solved puzzle 5 above. I hid it as a spoiler.
What I think you're stuck on is the final hidden puzzle of the book which no-one has solved yet. It uses the "spare" solution on this page and another page nearer the front.

Hi, is the following the last hidden puzzle of this book? 👇

Take spare #5 solution = look it up & a word from #2 storyline = hieroglyphics, you'll find out hieroglyphics is a compound word, made up from the words (Greek)
Hiero = Holy and
Glyphics = Writings

And, if you look up Holy Writings, you come up with the answer: The Bible.

I could be wrong, but this is the one word that stood out for me, and judging by the results, also the only one that could lead a player to a hidden "Easter egg".

Be interesting to see if I'm right 😁

Some elements of that are correct, but the answer is more specific.

The Holy Bible

A play of words with the main book's character's name

Also, i couldn't help but notice another play of words:

Advent = Arrival

"Advent = Arrival". Yes, that was entirely intentional. 🙂
There are lots more clues in this thread. 3 key pieces in post 4 and another one in post 5.

Stops vs storyline. FFS really.
